Gridlock Talent is launching a Public Relations (PR) Assistant Program to train the next generation of PR professionals. As a PR Assistant, youโ€™ll work closely with managers to support media outreach, press campaigns, and promotional strategies for our artists. If youโ€™re passionate about music, storytelling, and media relations, this is your chance to gain hands-on experience in the industry.

What Youโ€™ll Do:

  • Assist in developing and distributing press releases to relevant media contacts

  • Support managers in pitching and securing coverage with blogs, podcasts, radio, and media outlets

  • Build and maintain relationships with journalists, influencers, and tastemakers

  • Coordinate media interviews, press appearances, and editorial features

  • Help plan and execute promotional campaigns for artist releases and tours

  • Conduct outreach to influencers to create content that promotes our artists and their campaigns

  • Track and analyze PR campaign performance, adjusting strategies as needed

Who Weโ€™re Looking For:

  • Experience in public relations, media outreach, or a related field is preferred

  • Passionate about public relations, music marketing, or media outreach, with prior experience preferred

  • Strong writing and communication skills with a keen eye for storytelling

  • Existing relationships with media outlets and influencers is a plus

  • Highly organized and adaptable, thriving in a fast-paced industry

  • A strong team player who enjoys collaborating with experienced PR managers
